Resumen:
This paper presents the first results obtained by using the Coordinates language in the modeling of a process design process. Coordinates is an object-based language which provides multiple perspectives of the design process. Task Metamodels are used for representing generic design task and the resources that are required or produced during a design process. Domain Models provide a detailed description of the design resources (design rationale, optimization tools, streams, etc. Dynamic Models focus on the evolution of a particular resource. In this paper task models are used for modelling the design of a polyamide-6 manufacturing plant. Moreover, frequently used design task were abstracted in task patterns. The advantages and future language development are finally presented.
