Resumen:
The Jurassic turtle Notoemys laticentralis Cattoi & Freiberg, 1961, was referred to the family Plesiochelidae. This family is included in the infraorder Cryptodira. After the study of a new specimen of Notoemys laticentralis from the Vaca Muerta Formation (Tithonian), Neuquén Province, Argentina, we propose to include this taxon in the infraorder Pleurodira
