This contribution aims to share an experience developed in the 1st year of the Licenciatura en Geología of the National University of Río Negro. This work, based on teaching and learning oriented by the team-work in a transversal form between the subjects of the year, is focused on the elaboration of a geological map and its corresponding report. This work, involved the team of professors of Cartography and Field Geology, Introduction to Geology, Introduction to Academic Reading and Writing and Geological and Paleontological Practice I. They worked in a trans-disciplinary way, encouraging thematic complementation and reinforcing the learning of specific techniques and working methods, as well as the application of information and communication technologies (ICT).
