Resumen:
Using the holographic description of the strange metal phase, we develop a method to detect fermionic instabilities leading to nematic phases. The proposal is to use the Pomeranchuk technique on the weakly coupled bulk fermion, as a signal of anisotropic instabilities in the strongly coupled boundary theory. We explore the phase diagram at zero temperature for a finite value of the boundary chemical potential, by varying the quartic fermionic couplings.
