Resumen:
In this note we present a new method for the longitudinal profile reconstruction of the AUGER Fluorescence Detector (FD) events. The method is based on a ralistic parametrization of the light distribution on the camera surface wich allows a proper treatment of camera borders and inhomogeneities. The effect of a finite lateral shower distribution has also been included.An improved method to estimate the Cherenkov contribution to the shower profile has been implemented.
