Resumen:
We report a novel technique to produce ultrafine crystallites (<50nm) of Sr2FeMoO6 at relatively low temperatures. After an annealing in nitrogen for 4 h at 1150°C, the sample is made up of single-phase Sr2FeMoO6 and traces (<2%) of Sr3MoO6 and SrFeO3. The magnetic hyperfine signals at 22 K, arising from the three sites of Fe ions with different environments in the Sr2FeMoO6, exhibit relative proportions that change with the annealing temperature and are diverse from those found in the literature. Preliminary experiments display a 1.4% magnetoresistive effect at the low field of 0.045T.
