Resumen:
We study a (1+1)-dimensional fermionic quantum field theory with nonlocal couplings between currents. This model describes an ensemble of spinless fermions interacting through forward, backward and Umklapp scattering processes. We obtain a bosonized expression for the partition function, describing the dynamics of the collective modes of this system, it can be observed the appearance of a gap on the charge excitations due to the Umklapp scattering process.
