Resumen:
The crystallisation kinetics of MM2.5Fe79B18.5 (MM=Mischmetal), was followed by means of Mossabuer effect experiments at constant acceleration, Mo¨ ssbauer thermal scan, thermomagnetic and calorimetric measurements.It was determined that the as-quenched ribbons are amorphous with a Tc of 668K and the crystallisation, at low heating rates, occurs in two steps: in the first step, it precipitates a dilute a-(Fe, RE) solid solution, while in the second Fe2B and more a-(Fe, RE) are crystallised from the remnant Fe-impoverished amorphous matrix.
