The proposed scope of work is comprised of three separate tasks that generally aim to further understand the soil and groundwater impact at the site, so as to establish a reasonable approach to addressing these environmental issues: 1) Soil characterization: the objective of this task is to determine if the identified constituents in groundwater are present in soil 2) Further groundwater characterizatin: investigation of the three main aquifers (Puelche, lower Pampeano, higher Pampeano). 3) Conceptual Site Model: the primary objectives of this task are: a) to make qualitative determinations regarding the presence of exposure pathways that may be potential affecting the health of site personnel and/or off-site human receptors; 2) to evaluate if interim corrective actions are necessary to protect potential human receptors; and 3) to evaluate preliminary further actions in order to address the identified issues.
