P-fractions in the sediments of an extremely acidic lake in Patagonia, Argentina

The main P-fraction is linked to Al and Fe. This pattern is quite different to the P fractions that are found in sediments of neutral lakes mainly dominated by calcium. The high sulphur concentration could be important to sustain P in solution in the water column.
