This paper will explore various theoretical frameworks developed on a quantitative basis to measure the effectiveness of environmental law in order to discern which of them can be applied in Argentina and to introduce, when advisable, certain modifications based on the specific features of our country. Quantitative analysis was cross-checked with a qualitative research performed in 2010 by interviewing members of the Judiciary, Legislative and Administrative Powers, both at federal and local level.
