Resumen:
An updated synthesis of the palaeontological knowledge from Yacoraite Formation (Maastrichtian-Danian) in the Tres Cruces Subbbasin, Jujuy, Argentina is presented. This synopsis deals whit the presence, distribution, age and taxonomy of gastropods, trace fossils and fishes in the epicontinental shallow marine settings. Bioestratigraphic and palaeoenvironmental aspects are briefly revisited and discussed.
