The IAR Radio Telescope Antenna N°1, was originally designed and constructed for HI observation and mapping of the sky, the Radio Telescope was used and upgraded for science observations until beginning of the 2000, since then the Radio Telescope has been under some periods of maintenance and for teaching purposes.At the year 2014 two upgrades has been done, the first one on the pointing electronics and the second with the installation of a low cost digital receiver.The pointing electronics allowed us to improve the pointing accuracy and to develop a new pointing software.The low cost digital receiver or ?SDR? for Software Defined Radio allowed us to digitalize the Intermediate Frequency of the Radio Telescope and so do new observations on HI (1420MHz), with this system we did test on Pulsar Observations, from these tests, we observe the Pulsar Vela and the millisecond pulsar J0437-4715.
