Resumen:
In order to satisfy the requirements of energy-saving and lighting comfort at places which have no direct daylight access through windows, it is possible to set up daylighting rods. Nevertheless, there is no investigation yet of which one among the strategies known is more efficient for daylight passive collection. In the present work we have explored the possibilities of optimising daylight passive collection through the modification of the acrylic material shape at the collection area. Last we have developed an equation for the calculation of a graphic outline that optimises daylight passive collection through refraction depending on the latitude of the system?s installation.
