Resumen:
The Unequal Radius Modified Gouy - Chapman (URMGC)was applied to mixtures of electrolytes. It was considered that thetwo anions, (1) and (2), have different radius, r1 and r2, being r2´maller than r1. The dielectric constant was taken as a function of theelectric field, using the theoretical Booth equation, or as a lineardependence varying between 6 and 78 when r2 <x <r;.The results show that the surface excess of anion 2 is much greaterthan the one predicted by Gouy-Chapman theory when the proportionof 2 increases in the mixture, while both the other anion and thecation show negative deviation. This effect is more evident in mixturesthan in the case of single electrolytes, and has a maximun for acomposition that depends on the chosen parameters for the model.
