Resumen:
?A method for evaluating the coverage ofblocking species which are capable ofpartially inhibitingthe current peaks ofpseudo-capacitive electrode reactions is proposed. Equations are developed which allow to determine the coverage of the blocking species under two limiting kinetic regimes: (a) quasi-equilibrium and (b) irreversible. The method is tested in HCIO4 and H2SO4 media on gold and platinum.
