Resumen:
The adherence of colloidal hematite onto silver and mercuryelectrodes is studied employing different deposition and electro-chemical potential perturbation techniques. ?The time response ofthe attachment process is much shorter than that for particle trans-fer to a region close to the electrode surface and is strongly influ-enced by the electrode potential. The influence of the latter mani-fests itself within a few seconds and in a reversible way in as muchas the particles are not driven away from the electrode surface byother external forces.
