Resumen:
This paper shows the modellization of thin elastic membranes usinga rotation-free shell element within an explicit time integrationstrategy. The applications presented are isotropic/anisotropic rectangularmembranes subjected to shear and fabric drapes over a pedestal. Resultsare compared with published experimental and other numerical results.
