Resumen:
Rhizobium is a genus of soil bacteria belonging to the family Rhizobiaceae, whose members are able to establish symbiotic relationships with a range of legume plants with agricultural and environmental importance, resulting in the formation of nitrogen-fixing root nodules. Successful nodulation results from a series of complex plant-microbe interactions that involve the production and mutual recognition of specific plant and microbial signal molecules.
