Resumen:
We report the occurrence of Trachurus lathami and Callorhinchus callorynchus in Mar Chiquita coastal lagoon (37°44´S 57°25´W, Buenos Aires, Argentina). The capture of both specimens apparently represents the first record in a coastal lagoon. The presence of both species in this lagoon, suggest that fluctuating characteristics of environmental factors in estuaries, place proper sceneries for incursions of estuarine-non-dependent marine fishes. coastal lagoon (37°44´S 57°25´W, Buenos Aires, Argentina).
