Descripción:
A small skate recorded off northwestern Australia. It is a new species. It is an oviparous species, though there is no information on egg cases. Essentially nothing is known of its ecology or life history. Despite this, its area of occurrence receives little demersal fishing effort, and with no significant threats apparent, an assessment of Least Concern is warranted. However, any future expansion of demersal trawling within its range may pose a risk given its limited geographic and bathymetric distribution
