Resumen:
In this article the result of the analysis of archaeological record of Loma de los Muertos site (General Conesa district, Río Negro province, Argentine) is presented. In this site, both inhumatories (five humans and a carnivore) and domestical activities were carried out. On the base of chronological data several event occupation (at least five) were defined at the site. Results of the 14C dating of site cover a relative long time span of 2.500 year (betwen 500 and 3000 year BP). Materials for lithic artifacts were obteined from both primary (sandstone for grouns stone tools) and secondary sources (volcanic cobbles for knapped tools). Archaeofauna remains analysis shows several animals were exploited, such as mammals (guanaco and pampean deer) birds (ñandú -sudamerican ostrich-), fishes and freshwater mollusks. Pottery sherds study allowed to reconstruct a complete vessel wich was probably used in a domestic context. There are no evidences to prove chronological association betwen inhumatories and domestic activities at the site.
