Resumen:
The aim of this conference was to show the Research activities on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in the SE of Buenos Aires, Argentina of the group (EEA INTA, Balcarce). At first, The presence of indigenus arbuscular mycorrhizal colonization (AMC) of wheat crop associated to P fertilization. Results of field (two-years)  and glasshouse defined a lineal-plateau relationship between AM colonization and soil P (as a result of P fertilization). Then the receptivity of Argentinean soil to non indigenous AM. It was showed that inoculation and  moderately P increased P uptake and wheat growth. The effect of P fertilizer placement showed to depress AMC when P in-furrow incorporated and no when was was broadcasted (both under conventional and non tillage wheat crop). AMC and growth of tall fescue and wheatgrass was also studied associated to P fertilization sources (superphosphate -SP- and rock phosphate -RP-) and inoculation. The AMC was depressed by SP fertilization. However the RP did not depressed AMC. Plant growth increased by RP fertilization plus AMC inoculation. High diversity of indigenous AM fungi under unfertilized conditions: 23 genus, 13 species. Now we are intend to study biodiversity of arbuscular mycorrhiza and its effects on plants growth by molecular approaches
