Resumen:
The objective of this work is to study the kinetic of a long chain terminal alkyne, 1-heptyne, over monometallic Ni, W and Pd catalysts. Results indicate that W and Pd supported on alumina are very selective to 1-heptene (desired product) while Ni is less selective. The order of the activation energy found was: Ni >W>Pd.
