This essaypresents a debate about the general idea of normativity. It offers a criticaldiscussion on Brożek's article ´Imagination and RuleFollowing´. In the firstpart, it advances some concerns regarding the evidence on which some Brożek'sassertions are based. In the second part, it identifies three senses in whichinadvertently the expression 'normativity' is used in his work.
