Resumen:
The larval stages of the riffle beetle Hydora annectens Spangler & Brown are described and illustrated for the first time. They arecompared to Hydora larvae from New Zeland. a key to the larvae of the New World genera is given. The distribution of known species of Larainae is synopsized and a checklist og genera is given.
