Resumen:
The larva and egg case of Phaenonotum puncticolle Bruch, 1915 are described, based on material collected in the field and reared in the laboratory. Behavioral and populational data are included and discussed. The larvae and egg cases are compared to those of Phaenonotum (Phaenonotum) exstriatum (Say, 1835).
