Descripción:
The main objetive of this proposal is to obtain information about the oxidation state of Ce and Cu in a Metal/Oxide composite used as Solid Oxide Fuel Cells anodes measured under in-situ conditions: 700 °C under wet 10%H2/He and wet 10%CH4/He. Three anodes, prepared by Cu (and Ce) nitrates infiltration on a fluorite-type Zr1-xYxO2 (YSZ) and a Ce doped CeYSZ porous backbone, are proposed: Cu-CeYSZ, Cu-CeO2-YSZ and Cu-CeO2-CeYSZ.In-situ XAS measurements in transmission mode (XANES) at the Cu K- edge (8900 eV) and Ce L3-edge (5723eV) were performed at 700 °C under wet(3%H2O) 10%H2/He and wet 10%CH4/He (100 ml/min) atmospheres using the tubular furnace. The FT of the EXAFS spectra were adquired ex-situ (at room temperature) at the Ce L1-edge (6545eV) before and after reduction (in 10%H2/He at 700℃).
