Resumen:
The free radical scavenger capacity of tinctures from Baccharis incarum (Asteraceae) on ABTS/DPPH/ROS has been demonstrated previously as well as antimicrobial activity. The aim of this work was realized the bioguided isolation and identification of bioactive compounds (antioxidant and antimicrobial). TLC-Autography (DPPH/ABTS) and bioautography assay (Staphylococcus aureus methicillin-resistant) was used for the bioguided isolation. The bioactive compounds were purified by HPLC and the chemical structures were established on the basis on their H1-RMN, MS data and by comparison with reference data from literature. Two bioactive flavones with different number of methoxy and hydroxilic group were isolated. The identified compounds could be considered as natural products with potential applications in the pharmaceutical industries like antioxidant and antibacterial.
