Resumen:
The relationships of the South American Ephemeroptera with representatives of other gondwanian continents have been known for a long time. Many families and even some genera are also represented in Australia, New Zealand and Africa. Nevertheless, no formal biogeographic analysis has been presented. In the present study we analyzed the available data using Biogeographic Network Analysis (Dos Santos et al., 2008). We will discuss the patterns detected in South America, and the relationships with the other Southern land masses.
