Laboratory experiments are presented to analyze the free evolution of large-scale internal gravitational waves in a stratified water body affected by Coriolis. This investigation was made in a rotating table, where a two-layer stratification was created into a circular basin, using a fresh water layer on top of a dyed salty water layer on the bottom.
