Methacrylated fatty acids monomers from oleic and lauric acids to be used in the polymerization of thermosetting materials basedon renewable resources were successfully synthesized by using an optimized chemical procedure. The success of the chemicalreaction was confirmed by FTIR and analytical techniques.
