Resumen:
We present Magnetization and ESR measurements in the parainagnetic phase of ceramic LaMnO3 with carefullycontrolled stoichiometry. At T ~ 600 K, near the Jahn-Teller transition observed in this material, we found an importantdecrease of the ESR linewidth. We explain this observation considering the crucial role of the lattice distortions whichstrongly affects the anisotropic and isotropic exchange interactions.
