Resumen:
In my lecture I recovered some lines of enquiry explored in two projects that I directed in recent years around social conflicts around spaces. The protagonists of these conflicts are native communities, immigrants or local residents, large companies or brokers and different state agencies. A key concept in my presentation was territorial projects. These projects are embodied in ways of imagining the territory and carrying out practices on the territory. They are made of imagination and action: they produce images of the territory, they establish limits and ways of travelling through it, they define legitimate or illegitimate ways of using it.I focused on three analytical foci. The first underlines the importance of interrogating spatial routes and displacements. The second warns about the history, coexistence and connection of territorial projects. The third on the way in which the languages of valuation affect them.
