Resumen:
Giberellin class of plant hormones influences a wide variety of developmental processes. GAs have been implicated in the control of flowering in several species, as well as  sex deterination, control various aspects of seed gerination, and fruit set. Arabidosis can be used to identify the genes controlling carpel morhogenesis and hormone signal trasduction and their development is dependent on fertilization and seed set.Gibberellin is an essential component for silique development, because both seed and fruit development in the ga1 mutant were dependent on the application of exogenous GA3 following pollination .
