This report presents an assessment of the results of a housing production scheme carried out in the city of Buenos Aires under the auspices of the "Program for Self-managed Housing" (PAV) of the Buenos Aires City Housing Authority (IVC). Its aim is to make visible significant aspects of the daily life of residents, their organizational capacities for administration, management, maintenance of their coops and communities, neighborhood relationships and deepening of citizenship rights. To this end, between January and April 2018, we carried out a survey encompassing 120 cooperative members, complemented by an on site evaluation of building projects, photographic documentation and in-depth interviews, in a participatory research project agreed upon with the Collective of Popular Habitat Organizations. The Collective includess the Liberation Territorial Movement (MTL-CTAA); Cooperativa de Vivienda Los Pibes (CoVILPI) of Social and Political Organization Los Pibes-CTEP, Cooperativa Nueva Imagen of Federation Todos Juntos, Cooperativa Independencia, Cooperativa Sembrar Conciencia, Cooperativa El Molino and Cooperativa La Fábrica of Movement of Squatters and Tenants (MOI -CTAA).
