Resumen:
A female Architeuthis sp. was found in Bustamante Bay (Chubut, Argentina: 45´ 08´ S - 66´ 31´ 5" W) in May of 1996. This individual was found in the beach, in relatively good state of conservation. Its dimensions, obtained in fresh, and morphornetric indexes are given.
