Resumen:
This work deals with the development of stacked stainless steel metal mesh monoliths as supports of the Pt/Co,Ce catalyst for the treatment of diesel exhaust gases. of the metallicstructures, a Co,Ce film generated by washcoating was deposited from a suspension containing Co3O4 and CeO2 nanoparticles and subsequently Pt was incorporated. The catalytic cartridges were tested for simultaneous combustion of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and soot. To this end, n-hexane, ethyl acetate and toluene were selected as VOCs molecules, which were loaded together with real diesel soot into the metallic catalytic monoliths. It was found that while VOCs burning soot combustion occurs in the 300-500dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) techniques. The mechanical stability was confirmed by ultrasound method.
