Resumen:
Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) is an advanced technique for preparing catalysts atatomic level. It provides the ability to synthesize supported catalysts and itis based on selflimiting chemical reactions of alternate doses of precursors that saturate the surface,separated by an inert gas purge. ALD provides some advantages such as large-areauniformity and excellent conformability.Within this frame of reference, this work is focused on the synthesis of cobalt oxidegrown onto zirconia fibers by the ALD technique. These catalysts were tested in theCOoxidation, which is considered a model reaction for environmental concern.
