In this work a comparison between two chemistry transport models is presented, using a simulation over the city of Berlin (Germany). The models to be compared are REGOZON (developed at the Fraunhofer FIRST Institute) and POLAIR3D (developed at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees). The simulation models the forecasting of ozone using CBM-IV as chemical mechanism, it uses meteorological fields provided by MM5 (through a meteorological preprocessor), and initial and boundary conditions provided by REGOZON.The comparison was made using the BLUME observational network in the city of Berlin, where the data was fitted satisfactorily in the 50% of the cases, underestimating the values of the maximums at 15 hs.
