Resumen:
A novel route to increase the efficiency of heterojunction with intrinsic thin layer (HIT) solar cell is combining a perovskite solar cell as the top cell in tandem configuration. In this contribution we model the optics of state of the art monolithic perovskite/HIT tandem cell using the well-known transfer matrix formalism modified to include optically thick layers and oblique incidence. The layer stack thicknesses are then optimized with a simulated annealing algorithm to maximize the photocurrent for tandem cells with silicon thickness between a 3 μm and 500 μm. We explore the influence of different hole transport layers (HTL) and the selection of two (2T) or four (4T) terminals configuration to drive solar cell efficiency towards 30%
