Resumen:
In the context of the H2020/HYPERNETS project, a land site and a water site for system testing have been deployed in Argentina. Given the difficulty of access to some of the sites and the future possibility of deploying a large number of sensors, three additional systems are being developed to aid in the maintenance and monitoring of the radiometer equipment. The first system comprises a telemetry system for the solar power hardware. A python scriptwas developed to communicate via RS-422 to a CAN protocol capable solar power controller, where it collects telemetry information (battery status, current consumption, panel power output, etc). The data is uploaded to an SQL server and is processed with an open source interactive data-visualization platform, so the data from all the sites is available for remote monitoring. The second system comprises a software solution in the form of a cloud-hosted responsive web app for monitoring both surveillance cameras and showing brief information about the solar panel and battery real time status using a phone or a desktop web browser. And the third system comprises an electronic relay capable of momentarily interrupting thepower supply of the main box, in order to have a remote reset capability of the system whennecessary. The web app and the solar power telemetry system are operational in both Argentine’s sites. The remote reset system is currently under development being tested at IAFE facilities for future deployment
