The main objective of this study is to obtain magnetic hydrochars and biochars using pyrolysis and hydrothermal carbonization and in-situ co-precipitation of magnetite nanoparticles into the carbonaceous materials and used them as adsorbents to remove arsenite from water and mining waste sources.
