Since April 2013 the National Institute of Tropical Medicine (INMeT) of Argentina creates a permanent line in Soil Transmitted Helminthiasis and parasitic zoonosis diseases in the tri-border area of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. As a result of the increased emergence of zoonotic infectious diseases, integrative work under the concept of One Health is applied in most of the projects developed by this area. The impacts of parasitic diseases on human, livestock, and wildlife health have given a greater appreciation of the importance of collaborative efforts in solving health problems.
