Resumen:
This is the first report of CsCMV in meristematic cells of cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) plants and shows that in vitro culture of meristems does not always lead to complete virus eradication. Therefore, there is a need to combine this technique with others, such as thermotherapy and chemotherapy, to obtain satisfactory sanitary results.
