New electronic devices will require high performance with lower costs, sizes and weights, besides a very high reliability. These requirements demand significant efforts in research and development nevertheless it is possible to combine different materials in order to obtain optimal properties. Ceramics with high dielectric performance can be joined with the low cost and easy processing of polymers. These polymer-ceramic composite materials have aroused much attention for uses in microelectronic packaging. As the dielectric properties are strongly influenced by the ceramic phase (content, particle size and distribution), it is very important to study how the processing techniques affect the dielectric performance of the final composite. Milling process techniques of BaTiO3-based powders and the influence on the composite characterization are studied in this work.
