Abstract The influence of silver nanoparticles on dielectric behavior of epoxy matrix was studied. Silver was produced through AgNO3 chemical reduction in ethanol and triethylenetetramine. The resulting solution was mixed with the epoxy matrix to prepare the nanocomposites. Dielectric measurements showed that dielectric constant of composites depended on the filler amount, the temperature and the frequency. Dielectric losses were also influenced by the temperature and by the frequency through relaxation process, even though volume fractions did not have influence on losses.
