Resumen:
The aim of this article is to reflect on how coloured identity among members from the Teacher´s League of South Africa (TLSA) has been discussed and redefined based on the pressure the international context of the WWII was playing in the local political atmosphere. To do so, this article is based on research made on the TLSA´s publications and interviews made to former members of it.
