●Through the implementation of a proven strategy, rehabilitate two late-intermediate period (AD1000-1400) dams in the Cordillera Negra, Ancash Region. ●Improve water security, agricultural output, quality of life and climate change resilience for two communities in the Pamparomas Municipality, and those downstream.●Establish a clear conservation solution for ancient dams and through community collaboration and knowledge exchange, build the capacity for local communities to replicate the solution themselves in collaboration with archaeologists.
