Resumen:
In this paper, we present the results of dating by micro-laminations made on artifacts from a quarry-workshop located in the Yocavil Valley, Northern Argentina. The obtained data indicate that the minimum exposure age of the surface where these artifacts were recorded is 9400 yr BP. This allows us to start the discussion of the peopling of this mesothermal valleys region in northern Argentina throughout the Holocene. Secondly, dating from varnish micro-laminations results a contribution to the knowledge of the regional paleoclimates, based on the identification of at least ten wetter events along the entire sequence.
